Taste of Durban: Khan’s Takeaway

I love CURRY! While I toured around Durban, I was on the hunt for a well-known, local speciality, Bunny Chow. I found it while shopping at the Victoria Street Market at a food stall, Khan’s Takeaway. I chose to eat in though.

I ordered the Vegetable Curry Bunny Chow. Bunny Chow is a loaf of hollowed out bread filled with any curry of your dreams.

The curry had the right amount of spiciness to maximize the flavors of the dish. The bread loaf was perfect to scoop up any leftover curry remnants as well. All of this was mine for 15 Rand, or approximately $1.80 USD. Another delicious, budget-friendly meal!
